Appeal For Witnesses Following Oakley Break In

Police in Dunfermline are appealing for information after a house was broken into in the Oakley area. 

The incident happened around 8.05am on Thursday 17 December in Burnside Terrace.

Various items were stolen including Christmas presents.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who can assist with their enquiries to come forward.

Sergeant Martin McGovern, of Dunfermline Police Station, said: “A housebreaking is a horrible crime to experience, and more so during the Christmas period. 

“We would urge anyone who has seen suspicious behaviour in the area to get in touch.”
