Appeal Following Robbery

CCTV image released after man is robbed on train travelling between Kirkcaldy and Burntisland.

British Transport Police is appealing for help in identifying two men and a woman.

Officers believe the trio may have information which could assist with their inquiries into an incident on board a train travelling between Kirkcaldy and Burntisland. 

A 20 year-old man from Edinburgh was threatened and robbed on board the service.

The incident happened at around 9.40pm on Tuesday, 15 April 2014 on the 20.41 Dundee to Edinburgh Waverley service.

The three people left the train at Burntisland station.

Detective Constable Derek Alexander, the officer in charge of the enquiry, said:

"I am appealing to anyone who recognises those in the photograph to contact me as a matter of urgency."
