Anderson Signs Two-Way Contract

Fife Flyers can confirm that Kirkcaldy born Allan Anderson will be icing for both the Kirkcaldy Kestrels (SNL) and Fife Flyers (EIHL) during the 2015/16 season on a two-way contract.

26 year old Anderson first iced for the Kestrels during the 2011/12 season.

He spent two seasons playing for the SNL side before signing a two-way contract between the Kestrels and the Flyers during the 2013/14 season.

Anderson then joined the Flyers on a full time contract for the 2014/15 season, however he will split his time between the 2 Fife Ice Arena based teams during the 2015/16 season.

Forward Anderson had the following to say on the season ahead "I’m excited for the season ahead and looking forward to playing in front of the Kestrels and Flyers crowds.

It’s great to be playing for my local teams, who are competitive sides at their respective levels.

I have no doubt that the additional ice time will make me a stronger player."

Head Coach Todd Dutiaume added "Allan is a great guy and we want him to get as much ice time as possible this season.

Being on a two-way contract with the Kestrels and us will maximise the ice time Allan gets this season and will make him a better player without a doubt.

We are looking forward to working with Allan again this season."
