Health Secretary Alex Neil today announced 500 new Modern Apprentices will be recruited across the NHS in Scotland.
The Modern Apprentice programme is part of a commitment to help young people secure training and job opportunities and ensures the NHS has the skills it needs for the future.
The commitment to employ a further 500 over the next three years means NHS Fife is expected to benefit from the program.
It'll be invited along with the other regional administrations to apply for funding, depending on their recruitment needs.
