2014 was a massive year for wind and solar power in Scotland.
That's according to figures published by WWF Scotland. Their report suggests wind turbines provided enough energy to supply the electrical needs of 98% of Scottish households, equivalent to 2.36 million homes.
The data also shows December was a record breaking month as wind turbines generated enough power to supply over 100% of Scottish households on 25 out of the 31 days of December.
WWF Scotland Director Lang Banks is delighted with the growth of renewable energy in this country.
