Apprenticeship Week 2021

This week, during Scottish Apprenticeship Week, we are celebrating all the many benefits of modern apprenticeships and foundation apprenticeships for individuals, employers and the local economy.

Modern Apprenticeships

Modern Apprenticeships enable employers to develop the skills they need to adapt, sustain, and strengthen their businesses. Talented individuals of all ages and backgrounds have the chance to reach their potential with an apprenticeship.

In these challenging times, apprentices can play a vital role in ensuring employers in multiple industry sectors have a healthy pipeline of talent coming through...

Available in a variety of industry sectors – from construction or food and drink, to business administration and engineering, as well as many more.... Modern Apprenticeships offer over 16s the opportunity to train for a nationally recognised qualification whilst being in paid employment.

Foundation Apprenticeships

Foundation Apprenticeships are work-based qualifications for secondary school pupils that not only help you develop skills and knowledge, but also give you work experience with a local employer. There are 10 different Foundation Apprenticeships open to S5 and S6 pupils across the 18 Fife high schools, all of which are ideal for your CV when you leave school.

So, if you are starting 5th or 6th year and looking to kick-start your future career while still at school, have you thought about doing a Foundation Apprenticeship alongside your National 5s and Highers?

We encourage anyone interested in becoming an apprentice, or companies looking to take on an MA to get in touch by calling 0344 248 0128 or email sales@fife.ac.uk. We can offer advice, not just during Scottish Apprenticeship Week but at any time throughout the year.
