Keen to get your kids cooking?

There are many benefits of encouraging them to get into the kitchen – learning useful skills that will stay with them for life, working out measurements and quantities, making healthier choices, learning about using fresh and natural ingredients.

We’re offering all of these in a fun and friendly environment!

This October we’re running a kids cooking club for the 9-12 age group that will encourage the children to make use of autumn ingredients, making apple and bramble crumble and pumpkin muffins. We’ll be cooking everything from scratch using fresh ingredients (some from our garden). Please bring a container to take home their creations.

Our experienced staff will be on hand to offer support and encouragement throughout.

This workshop is for kids aged 9 – 12, and is suitable for enthusiastic beginners. All of our kids cooking clubs are suitable for vegetarians. We’ll be using wheat flour and eggs – the club is not suitable for anyone with a gluten intolerance.

There is disabled parking on site and The Lang Spoon Community Kitchen is wheelchair and mobility friendly.
