Our Ravenscraig gardeners are also keen cooks and like to preserve the summer harvest to last into the winter. They will share their knowledge and experience to help you make jam from garden and hedgerow fruit.
We’ll forage around Ravenscraig to pick fruit and wild berries and then turn it into jam at our Cabin. We’ll look at the principles behind jam making, how you can make the most of different kinds of fruit and we’ll send you home with recipes, ideas and a jar of jam.
Please wear suitable clothing for being outdoors and cooking. No experience necessary.
The workshop will take place at Ravenscraig Walled Garden. There is disabled parking on site and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
