Kirkcaldy Art Club in Hot Pot Wynd in Dysart was once the domestic offices and laundry for the Sinclair and Nairn families. From 1930 it was the laundry for the Carmelite Monastery. In 1970 Kirkcaldy Art Club bought the building and now it has a great pottery on the ground floor and a spacious upstairs painting studio.
On Sunday 8th September, 11-4, there will be an exhibition of members' work, including pottery, paintings, jewellery, glass, cards and other craft items.
There will also be activities for children in the pottery and tea, coffee and home baking on offer in the painting studio. Some art club members will be demonstrating their work over the day, using a range of mediums.
