Bairns in the Woods – Summer Outdoor Kids Club
Thursday, August 1st
Join us for a walk to Ravenscraig Park woods where we will pick the best spot to build a base for watching wildlife! We’ll show you how to build different types of dens, which we can use to sit and survey the woodland creatures. We’ll also set up hammocks, hang out and enjoy all the benefits of some forest bathing.
We’ll play hide and seek by camouflaging ourselves using netting, sticks, leaves and painting our faces.
After a tasty treat of strawberry and marshmallow kebabs, we’ll head off into the woods to collect some woodland treasures. Kids will then learn how to weave treasures and make wild woodland art to take home!
Our kids clubs are a great way to get budding explorers out in nature. Come along to learn new skills, meet new friends and make great memories!
The clubs are suitable for children aged 5-10. The venue is wheelchair accessible and there is disabled parking on site.
