A woman has died after a road crash in Fife.
The 74-year-old was the passenger in a car which left the A985 - at the roundabout with the A994 in Cairneyhill - and hit a tree on Monday afternoon.
She was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary along with the 74-year-old male driver, but has now died.
The driver remains in a serious condition.
A spokesperson said: "Officers are continuing to appeal for information and anyone who was driving on the road around the time of the crash, who has dash-cam footage, is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1425 of Monday October 19 2020."
