Woman, 18, appears in court charged with Fife man's murder

A woman has appeared in court charged with murder, after a man died near Glenrothes on Friday.

18-year-old Joshua Kerr succumbed to his injuries, after a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.

Grace Ross, 18, of Glenrothes, appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today on a charge of murder.

She made no plea and the case was committed for further examination. Ross has been released on bail.

Emergency services were called to Little Balquhomrie Farm at around 11.10am on Friday to deal with the incident.

Mr Kerr’s family have paid tribute to him, saying he was “the perfect person” and “we will forever love him”.
