WATCH: Lifeboat crew from Anstruther rescue man on Isle of May

Lifeboat crews from Anstruther were called out to rescue a man on the Isle of May in the Forth at the weekend.

An alarm was raised with the RNLI at around 6pm on Saturday that a man had broken his ankle on the island - which is around 5 miles off the coast of Fife.

Due to the location of the casualty on the island, the volunteer crew had to trek three quarters of a mile from the harbour to reach him.
