Two fire appliances to be sent to Argentina after being named in memory of a lifelong Raith Rovers fan and his club

Two fire appliances are being sent to Argentina after both were named in memory of a lifelong Raith Rovers fan and his club.

The two appliances have been named after former firefighter Bert Stewart, who passed away a few months ago, as well as the Kirkcaldy side itself.

Fife based charity the International Fire and Rescue Association were presented with the keys for both appliances, with a ceremony taking place at Stark's Park yesterday.

Andy Mill, a former firefighter himself and now a Raith Rovers director, addressed of gathering of people at the stadium.
