Fife Council is planning on opening another nursery in the Kingdom.
It is hoped a premises could be build as part of Kinglassie Primary School, and be open by August 2020.
It is part of the council's plan to increase Early Learning and Childcare placements to 1140 hours by summer next year, offering extra places for two to five year old's in the surrounding area.
Parents, carers and local residents are being encouraged to attend a drop in session at Kinglassie Primary, during which council representatives will be on hand to present progress on the development and answer any questions.
The event is taking place on Monday 27 May between 2:30pm and 6:30pm.
