Pay demands must be met if targetted college strikes in Fife are to be avoided.

That's the message from the EIS.

The union says it's keen to bring the dispute between them and lecturer employers, Colleges Scotland, to an end.

Earlier this week, two days of strike action were held in Fife over the dispute over lecturers' pay.

Colleges Scotland insists the walk-outs haven't had a significant impact on classrooms across the Kingdom.

Bosses from the EIS union say they are on the brink of an agreement about pay with the employer.
