Mossmorran protesters urge independent review into health impacts

Protesters outside Fife Council's HQ are telling councillors something needs to be done with flaring at Mossmorran.

The recent incident saw thick black smoke fill the skies with residents telling how they suffered from sleepless nights and vibrations for days.

Meanwhile bosses at Mossmorran have provided a five-year plan to reduce flaring incidents.

One of the protesters there was 68-year-old Joseph Purvis from Lochgelly:
