A man' is due to appear in court after £60,000 worth of items were recovered by police.
A man has been charged following a high value break in at an antiques shop in Guardbridge on Sunday the 28th of July.
Over £60,000 worth of jewellery and other items were recovered at two addresses in Dundee on the 9th of August by Levenmouth CID following an extensive investigation into the incident.
Detective Constable Mark Millar from Levenmouth CID said, "We're delighted to have recovered large amounts of the stolen property from the Guardbridge store, as these pieces have been collected over several years and were a huge loss to the owners, both financially and from a sentimental point view.
"We treat all reports of acquisitive crime with the utmost seriousness and through Operation Principle, we investigate every incident with the utmost seriousness to bring offenders to justice."
The 48-year-old accused is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on the 12th of August.
