A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a man in Glenrothes.
Dale Berwick, 29, of Buckhaven, was arrested on Saturday following a disturbance at the town's Uist Road, following which a 65-year-old man died.
Berwick appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today, where he faced charges including murder and assault.
He made no plea during his appearance on petition, and he was remanded in custody while the case was continued for further examination.
