Raith Rovers will play their 2nd Challenge Cup final in six years next month

Kingdom FM News has been hearing from the Vice Chairman of Raith Rovers, following the club's recent success in reaching the Challenge Cup final.

It'll be the second time in six years the Kirkcaldy side will compete for the trophy.

John McGlynn's team will take on Inverness Caledonian Thistle towards the end of next month.

But it is currently not known where the venue for the final will be, although the SPFL is expected to confirm where the match will be played at a later date.

Back in 2014 at Easter Road, John Baird scored the winning goal in a 1-0 victory against Rangers.

He started by asking him what the feelings were a few days on after the 2-1 win against Partick Thistle in the semi-final at Firhill last Friday evening:
