A woman from Glenrothes has admitted conning taxpayers out of more than £44,000.
Lynn Crombie appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court earlier this week, where she admitted she had not disclosed she was living with her husband.
Between November 2011 and January 2016, the 40-year-old claimed £44,143.83 of taxpayers money.
Crombie, of Ancrum Court, has been married to her bank-worker husband Christopher Smart since 2012.
Her sentence has been deferred until the 14th of August.
