Four men charged after estimated more than a million pounds worth of cannabis found in Kirkcaldy

Police have charged four men in connection with drugs offences after cannabis worth an estimated street value of more than a million pounds was found during a search in Kirkcaldy.

Officers executed a drugs search warrant a property in the town’s High Street at around 9am yesterday (4 May 2022).

Police Scotland says four men, ages 21, 21, 26 and 29, have been scheduled to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today (5 May 2022).

Detective Inspector Stuart Hunter of CID at the force said: "The supply and distribution of controlled drugs continues to be a priority for us.

"We will seek every opportunity to disrupt and prosecute those that are involved across Fife and on this occasion we were assisted by our colleagues in the Air Support Unit.

"We would like to thank the public for their continued support and encourage anyone who concerns about drug activity to contact Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed anonymously."
