Fife Zoo re-opens ten days after fire

Fife Zoo has started to welcome back visitors today, ten days after a fire.

The blaze caused damage at the attraction, which is near Ladybank.

A week last Sunday (5th July), a blaze started in a workshop near the soft play area.

It's thought the fire was electrical.

Meanwhile, the zoo is advising people visiting to bring a face mask with them as it will be needed when going through the Base Camp Gift Shop or if making an order at Africafé.

The attraction's director has paid tribute to the public for their support during the attraction's closure.
