A Fife man is aiming to travel the equivalent of the distance between Scotland and Australia - on a bike.
Ross Duncan from Dunfermline is hoping to cycle around 9,500 miles and trying to raise £15,000 for children's charity CHAS in the process.
To reach his target the 32-year-old will pedal 124km every day until his finishing date on April 21st.
He is already 18 days into his challenge and has covered over 1,000 miles in that time.
Speaking to Kingdom FM News Ross said: "I did not really see a lot of the family a lot over the Christmas period, but so far, so good!
"I am honoured to be taking this on in aid of CHAS – the work that they do for the many families who need them is crucial.
"I have been bowled over by the response so far – we are nearly £2,000 into the target."
"We are blessed in Fife, as we are all over Scotland, with an extensive National Cycle Network that will take me through significant stretches of the challenge.
"Due to the time of year it is safe to say I will be on the paths as often as I will be using Zwift; an online indoor training tool."
