Dunhill To Tee Off

Rory and Gerry McIlroy to begin their bid for Alfred Dunhill Links team title at Carnoustie.

World No.1 Rory McIlroy is teaming up with his father Gerry, as they start their challenge for the Alfred Dunhill Links Team Championship at Carnoustie. They are drawn in a fourball with former Masters champion Charl Schwartzel and Jeremy Ord.

Defending champion David Howell once again partners Hugh Grant, while 2013 runner-up Peter Uihlein is reunited with US rock star Huey Lewis, with whom he was due to play last year, but the rock star had to withdraw with a shoulder injury.

Two-time Team Championship winners Padraig Harrington and Irish racehorse owner JP McManus will be playing together again bidding for a hat-trick of successes, also at Carnoustie.

Football fans should head to St Andrews for two consecutive fourballs which include Johan Cruyff and Daan Huizing, Michael Ballack and Marcel Siem, Ruud Gullit and Morten Orum Madsen and Sir Bobby Charlton and Darren Fichardt.
