Cash Winning Confusion

The Word Is Out continues on air, and continues to cause some confusion!
We’ve been playing with the current clip since February this year and the prize fund is now over £1600 so if you are able to, I would definately suggest giving the game a try at 7.15 and 9.15 on breakfast or with me weekdays at 5.15pm.
The current confusion, though, seems to come from the fact that some people think we’ve given out a clue regarding the first letter of the answer. I can tell you categorically that we haven’t given out a clue like that so you haven’t missed anything! What I can tell you though is that over the past two weeks we’ve had a guess that is the closest yet to the correct answer… hopefully you’ve been listening!
In case you haven’t, here’s are some of the more recent wrong guesses:
Oxygen, rain, normality, noise, world, banter, bus, conveniences, surroundings, surfing, shuttle, mornings, privacy, hustle, bath, library, news, clouds, flowers, dawn, ground, seasons, lottery, horizon, fashion, routine, kids, people and in-laws!
